Mrs. Lucille E. Kammer's Obituary
Lucille E. Kammer, age 88, of Marine City, peacefully died in her sleep at home on June 18, 2012. She was born November 24, 1923 in Casco Twp., to the late William and Emma Thueme. On August 4, 1945 Lucille married Albert Kammer while he was on furlough from overseas during World War II.
Lucille was a member of St. Martin Lutheran Church, Marine City for over 60 years where she was also active with the Alter Guild.
Her hobbies included sewing and reading.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years Albert Kammer, children; Gary (Deborah) Kammer and Sandra S. Kammer, grandchildren; Stephanie Kammer and Joshua (Leah) Kammer and great grandchild; Kaydence.
Funeral services will be Friday June 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Martin Lutheran Church, Marine City. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Marine City. Visiting hours are Thursday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home and Friday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to service. Memorials may be made to St. Martin Lutheran Church or the charity of the donor's choice.
