Luanne Helen DeGueisippe's Obituary
Luanne Helen DeGueisippe, age 68, of East China, passed away peacefully September 15, 2023. She was born January 31, 1955 in St. Clair to the late Alvin and Gladys Guldenstein. Luanne married Samuel DeGueisippe on July 13, 1985 and he preceded her in death in June of 1988.
Luanne was baptized and a lifelong member of St. Paul’s Lutheran church, Casco Twp. She helped out with Sunday school and was also in the church choir. In her free time, she enjoyed taking care of her plants and flowers around the house, attending Marine City sporting events, doing water aerobics and having a glass of wine with her friends. But most of all Luanne cherished her time she was able to spend with her family especially her nieces and nephews.
She is survived by her son, Daniel (Alicia) DeGueisippe; sister, Sharon (Mark) Letson along with many nieces and nephews.
Luanne is preceded in death by her brother, Dale Guldenstein.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday September 20, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Casco Twp. Visitation will be Tuesday September 19, 2023 from 3:00- 7:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. along with one hour prior to the service at church.
