Lottie Belle Winckler's Obituary
Lottie Belle Winckler, age 89, of East China Twp., formerly of Marine City, died October 20, 2011. She was born November 2, 1921 in Marine City to the late Robert and Greta Donaldson. On October 21, 1944 Lottie married Lewis A. Winckler in Marine City. He preceded her in death in 1996. Lottie retired from River District Hospital.
She loved going to St. Clair Little League and St. Clair High School baseball games. She was an avid Detroit Tigers baseball fan.
She is survived by her children; Susan (D.J.) Boulier, Kathi Mead and Steve (Mary) Winckler, grandchildren; Lisa Winckler, Michelle Reichle, Sue Mead, Lesli Mead, Jon Winckler, Connor Winckler, Kelly Lavis and Bo Boulier, 8 great grandchildren, sister; Margaret Galvin and her beloved cat; Rusty.
She was preceded in death by a son; Donald "Skip" Winckler, granddaughter; Tracy Cottrell, son in law; Al Mead and brothers; Marv and Bob Donaldson.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday October 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Marine City. Visiting hours are Monday October 24th, 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.
