Lorna A. Fetting's Obituary
Lorna A. Fetting, age 70, of St. Clair, died August 27, 2015. She was born December 30, 1944 in Detroit to Herbert and Veronica Fetting.
Lorna graduated from Sandusky High School in 1962. She worked as a certified Pharmacy Technician for many in years in Marlette and Brown City. She also worked at the Marlette Preschool Center for 11 years.
Lorna played piano, organ and directed the choir at several churches she attended. She was a member of the St. Clair Community Singers and Marine City Interfaith Choir for many years. In addition to her love of music, Lorna also enjoyed reading, walking, spending time with her grandchildren and watching the Detroit Tigers.
She is survived by her children; David (Tracy) Taylor, Sandra (John) Rutledge-Plonka and Laurie Ann (Greg) Black, grandchildren; Zac and Carson Taylor, Haley, Darrien and Alexa Rutledge, Samantha Rose and Makenna, Mason and Calvin Black, great granddaughter, Maddalynn Rose, sister, June (Wayne) Samson and sister in law, Frieda Fetting.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Herbert and Veronica Fetting and brother, Stanley Fetting.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday September 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will be in Zion Cemetery, Watertown Township.
