Lois Ann Osterland's Obituary
Lois Ann Osterland, age 73, of East China Twp., died June 11, 2016. She was born to Roland and Agnes Dornoff on August 13, 1942 in St. Clair. Lois graduated from Holy Cross High School in June of 1960. On October 19, 1963 she married Melvin Osterland.
Lois worked many years as a noon lunch aide at Washington School in Marine City and was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Holy Cross Alter Society, Holy Cross Choir and Daughters of Isabella Circle #419.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Melvin. Sons; Duane (Julie), Dave (Chris) and Dean (Alyce), seven grandchildren; Travis, Trever, Becca, Kennedy, Avery, Lexy and Josh. Siblings; Karen (George) Merrill, Joyce McClarren and twin brother Tom (Eleanor) Dornoff, sisters in law; Lucille (Jack) Arnold, Loretta McHugh and Leona Markel.
Mass of Resurrection will be Friday June 17th at 11 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church, OLR Parish, Marine City. Visiting hours are Thursday 2 to 8 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. with a rosary recital at 7 p.m. and Friday 10 to 11 a.m. at church prior to mass.
