Lois V. (Rinker) Allington's Obituary
Lois V. (Rinker) Allington, age 80, of Marysville, died August 8, 2014. She was born April 2, 1934 in Algonac to the late Herbert and Josephine Rinker. Lois enjoyed her time spent with her family and friends and cherished all the time she shared with her children and grandchildren. Lois also had a great love of music, flowers and shopping. She was an avid sports fan and especially loved to watch Tiger's baseball. Lois loved working in the hospitality industry and continued to do so until 2013. Her memberships included the Fishers Community Church in St. Clair, the Moose Lodge and American Legion both of Port Huron.
She is survived by her children; Robert Allington, Lori (Bernd Wewelsiep), Richard (Debra) Allington and Lisa (Scott) Zisler, grandchildren; Shaun (Lynn) Zisler, Richie Allington, Chad Zisler, Carter, Robert and Anna Allington, sister; Betty (Vern) Pickard, brother in law; Guy Provost, special niece; Jenifer Curtis and several other dear nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother; Lyle (Betty) Rinker, sisters; Eleanor "Sally" Provost and Shirley Rinker-Brown and newphew; Herbie Pickard.
Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be conducted Wednesday August 13th at 7:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visitation will be Wednesday from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m.
