Lindsay E. Kornik's Obituary
Lindsay E. Kornik, age 34, of Avoca, passed away July, 26 2024 after a long battle with Retts Syndrome and Gastaut Syndrome.
She was born June 24, 1990 in East China to James Kornik and Cheri Nichols. Lindsay attended Woodland Developmental Center in Marysville for many years. She enjoyed the outdoors and adventures to Belle Isle and the Detroit Zoo.
She is survived by her mother; Cheri (Jeff) Nichols, her sister and caretaker; Beth (Chad) Delor.
Lindsay is also survived by her brothers and sister; Justin (Sadie) Wastell, Timothy Wastell, Katlyn (Matt) McKay and Mike Kornik, along with her niece and nephews; Jacob Cole, Everly Wastell and Frankie Wastell. Also survived by her grandmother; Betty Allen, her uncle; Reid (Renee) Allen and their son; Harrison.
She was preceded in death by her father; James Kornik and grandfather; Dick Allen.
Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
