Linda "Lu" Smith's Obituary
Linda “Lu” Smith, 57, of Marine City passed away peacefully on December 1, 2025, with family by her side after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on January 14, 1968, to James and Caroline Smith, Linda grew into a loving and devoted daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend to many.
Linda’s greatest joy in life was her family. She was a proud mother to her daughter, Sabrina Smith, and a devoted “Mema” to her three grandchildren—Rogelio Jr., Paisley, and Amiya—who were the light of her life. She also cherished the companionship of her beloved dogs, Jedd and Bud, who were never far from her side.
Linda will be remembered for her warmth, her strength, and the love she showed so freely to those around her. Her kindness touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and her memory will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
