Linda Parker's Obituary
Linda Parker, age 69, of St.Clair, died February 13, 2012 after a courageous battle with multiple sclerosis where she dedicated herself to research to find a cure. She was born to the late John and Elizabeth Palmer on September 16, 1942 in Highland Park. She married Tony Parker on October 19, 1979. She graduated from Harper Grace Nursing School in 1963. She dedicated her life's work caring for others as a registered nurse. She was a member of PAWS with a Cause and enjoyed her companion Speedy. She worked many years as a volunteer at Pine River Elementary School. She is survived by her husband; Tony Parker, daughter; Kelly (Matthew) Pieper, grandchildren who she adored; Kayla and Matilyn Pieper, sisters; Fran Paden, Beth (Ed) Patrus, brothers; John Palmer, Jim Palmer, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her sister Nancy Palmer.
