Mrs. Lillian Mary Kammer's Obituary
Lillian Mary Kammer of Marine City passed peacefully in her home on Sunday, Oct. 26 surrounded by her family. Lil’s was always the “go to” place for friends and family. A bottomless cup of coffee was always at hand along with lots of love, friendship and laughter. She loved going to bingo with Virginia and Dixie.
Lillian Mary Love was born to George and Maryann Love on April 28, 1933 in Lake Linden, Michigan. She was married to Leonard Roy Kammer on March 31, 1951. He preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 2002. Also preceding her in death were children, Crystal, Leonard and Roy, and brothers George and Hank (Joseph) Love.
She is survived by her children, Sue (Larry) Kulman, Dan Kammer, Linda (Harry) Babel, Mike (Pam) Kammer; grandchildren Marie (Richard), Theresa (James), Eddie, Kelly, Rachel, Jenny, Dan (Tara), Jim (Trish), Shelly, Scott (Sarah), John, Tony, Crystal (Noel), and 17 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers Bob (Rose) and Jim Love, sister Virginia Walker, and sister-in-laws, Dixie Jones, Jean (Marv) Kettle and brother-in-law Bruce (Barb) Kammer, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A heartfelt thank you to our caregivers, Gina, Cindy and Brenton. A special thank you to Sandy of Reverence Hospice for kindly and compassionately guiding us through this difficult time. Memorials can be made to a charity of donors choice.
