Leroy Schneider, age 76 of Kimball Twp., passed away August 10th surrounded by his loving family. He was born on May 4th, 1944 to the late Roy and Viola Schneider of Columbus Twp. On June 21st, 1968 he married Judy Schmidt at St. Read Obituary

I have known Leroy's Granddaughter Courtney since we were little and always enjoyed when her grandparents would come over to her house or we would stop to see them. It always felt like i was at home. He was a very loving sweet person and definitely loved his family and his Detroit Tigers. Sending lots of love and prayers to all the family and friends.
I have been friends with Leroy's daughter Jody for awhile. Every time I had seen him, he was always happy, but quiet at times until he had something to say to Judy giving her a hard time. He always had baseball playing on TV. Leroy sure knew his sports especially the Tigers. He was a caring and kind man. It is sad to hear of his passing but heaven has yet again gained another angel. I know he will be watching over his family and enjoying his sports still from heaven. I was blessed to have been able to meet Leroy. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you for your loss of husband, father, grandfather and great grandpa.

I had the pleasure of meeting Mr. and Mrs. Schneider through their son, Jeff, and they were so welcoming. Mr. Schneider had such a gentle, loving soul and this shown especially when his grandchildren were around. Mr. Schneider will be missed by many and my thoughts and prayers are with Mrs. Schneider and family.
