Mrs. Leila A. Wells' Obituary
Leila A. Wells, age 84, of St. Clair, died February 12, 2015. She was born March 7, 1930 in Montreal, Canada. On May 31, 1952 Leila Houghton married Vernon Wells. He preceded her in death on April 19, 2014. Following Vernon’s retirement Leila and her husband retired to Florida for 20 years, moving back to St. Clair in 2011. She was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, St. Clair
Leila is survived by her daughters; Sandy (Ted) Sladowski and Valerie (Mark) Jacobson, grandchildren; Brian (Michelle) Sladowski, Ross Sladowski (Laura) and Erin (Jason) Stier and 10 great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her son, Geoffrey Wells.
A Memorial Service will be conducted Saturday March 14th at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, St. Clair. The family will receive visitors prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Episcopal Church. Arrangements by Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
