Lawrence A. "L.B." Blank's Obituary
Lawrence A. “L.B.” Blank, age 73, of East China Twp., passed away November 1, 2025. Larry was born December 7, 1951 in Detroit to the late Robert and Frances Blank.
Larry was a salesman at Lipari Foods for many years. He would leave Lipari Foods to be a test driver for Ford Motor Company and retired from Ford’s after 16 years of service.
L.B. enjoyed a spirited game of euchre and also looked forward to a round of golf, bowling and throwing horseshoes. He was a longtime active member of the Southeastern Michigan Conservation Club and will be missed by his fellow members. He was an avid Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers fan that looked forward to watching every game. L.B. also cherished his circle of friends at Gord’s Bar and his loving family. L.B. had a special place in his heart for all dogs & was always ready to share some dog treats with a furry friend.
Larry is survived by his brother, Terry Blank; sister and brother in law, Carol and Bill Peterson; nephews, Tom, Dan and niece, Christy Blank; great nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends and his special friend, Martha Cooper.
In addition to his parents Larry was preceded in death by his brother, Rob Blank and sisters in law, Gail Blank and Linda Blank.
The celebration of L.B.’s life will begin at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 8th at Southeastern Michigan Conservation Club, 2402 Belle River Rd., East China Twp. with a memorial service to begin at 1:00 p.m. A luncheon will immediately follow.
