Laurie Jean Schaaf, age 41, of Algonac, died August 23, 2010. She was born January 12, 1969 in St. Clair. Laurie was employed by the United States Postal Service, Algonac branch.
She is survived by her husband David F. Schaaf, children; Erin and David "D.J." Schaaf, father; Justin "Larry" Robb, brothers; Larry (Chris) Robb, Harold (Cindy) Robb, and Mark Robb, sisters; Sheila (Jody) Whitis, Jeannie (Jim) Aris, nephews; Eric and Kyle Whitis, Tayler Thacker, nieces; Kelsi Simons and Amber Yokem. Her dogs; Simon, Coco, and Nico and cat Joe. Laurie was preceded in death by her mother Sally M. Robb.
Laurie was a donor to Gift of Life. Visiting hours are Wednesday August 25, 2010 2:00 to 4:00 and 5:00 to 8:00 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Private family services will be held. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
