Larry Penzien's Obituary
Larry L. Penzien, age 68, of St. Clair Twp., died January 25, 2011. He was born May 3, 1942 in Imlay City to the late Lawrence and Elverta Penzien. On November 24, 1962 Larry married Dorothy Marvin in Marysville.
Larry worked 40 years at the Diamond Crystal Salt Plant and was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church, St. Clair.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Dorothy Penzien, children; Rich (Tracy) Penzien, Kathy (Shane) Peterson, and Mark (Karissa) Penzien, grandchildren; Zachary, Emily, and Shane, siblings; Alice (Doug) Steckly, Mary Penzien, Bill (Jane) Penzien, Linda Penzien, Bernard Penzien, and Lee Penzien, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son John Penzien.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Peters Lutheran Church, St.Clair. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
Visiting hours are Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Saturday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to services. Memorials may be made to St. Peter's Church.
