Lana C. Chapdelaine's Obituary
Lana C. Chapdelaine, age 77, of Richmond, passed away March 8, 2023 surrounded by her family. She was born December 24, 1945 in Royal Oak to the late Herbert and Nancy Watson.
Lana enjoyed large family gatherings up north for the 4th of July with sparklers, roasting marshmallows and watching grandkids climbing trees. Having everyone together was a great joy to her.
She also enjoyed baking, especially her famous pumpkin cookies. She loved living up north with Mark and encouraging him with his many woodworking projects and their outings to the 211 bar.
She is survived by the love of her life; Mark Black and her children; Renae (Steve) Motyka, Greg (Nancy) Chapdelaine, Brian (Christi) Chapdelaine, Yvonne (Ralph) Finley, Jason (Aneta) Black, Steven (Lena) Black, Jennifer (Eric) Wiswell and Kevin Chapdelaine.
She is also survived by 28 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her granddaughter; Faith Black, great-grandson; Oliver James Vorhoff, sister; Marion and brother; Arnold.
