Krista Rae Recor's Obituary
Krista Rae Recor, age 57, of St. Clair, formerly Marine City, passed away unexpectedly in the comfort of her own home. She was surrounded by her loving wife, Mo and her bonus sisters Chris Jenerou and Lesa Soule on March 15, 2025. She was born on December 27, 1967, in East China to the late Arnold and Kathy Recor. Krista married Maureen Maloney on August 5, 2023. Krista had a love for playing golf, euchre, softball, and listening to music. Above all, Krista was born to care for others and the elderly. She was a devoted caregiver and a safe place for all of the individuals she cared for throughout the years.
She is survived by her loving wife, Maureen “Mo” Maloney, fur babies Benelli Rae and Kota Ray, uncles Chuck Kammer, Larry Wilmoth, sisters and brothers in law Kate Maloney, Joe Maloney, John Maloney, and Mary Ellen Schneider, many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and many friends, too many to mention, that meant so much to her. She formed a sisterhood with them and considered them part of her family. She is also survived by daughters Ali Negro-Keister, Shelby Mette, Sydney Rice, grandchildren Bentley Rice and Addison Mette.
Krista is preceded in death by her siblings, Mark Recor and Tamela Dietlin.
A celebration of life will be held at the Southeastern Michigan Conservation Club on Sunday April 13, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and inurnment will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
