Kindra Sue Hoppe's Obituary
Kindra S. Hoppe, age 55, of Lenox Twp., passed away unexpectedly on April 8, 2024. She was born in Ypsilanti on November 21, 1968 to Harold and Marlene Conger. She married Glenn Hoppe on January 26, 1990.
She earned her Associate Degree from Macomb County Community College and was a Phi Theta Kappa Alumni. Upon graduation she worked as a nurse for over 30 years. Kindra especially like working with the elderly at various nursing homes.
Her family meant the world to her and she enjoyed crafting many treasured gifts for them. She would make T-shirts for her grandsons and decorate different style drinking cups for family and friends as well.
Kindra was also known for creating unique wreaths for people too. Christmas was always a joyful time for her to decorate her home with snowmen being the center of her attention. Making everyone feel welcome at family gatherings was very important to her, she loved hosting those events.
Kindra was a proud Michigan State University parent and MSU sports fan. She always looked forward to family game nights and having her kids near her. She and Glenn had Friday day dates that always included breakfast and watching freighters along the St. Clair River.
She is survived by her husband; Glenn Hoppe, her children; Stephanie (Kirk) Dywasuk, Kevin Hoppe and Kyle Hoppe.
She is also survived by her grandsons; Cody and Cameron Dywasuk and her mother; Marlene Malleck.
She was preceded in death by her father; Joseph Malleck, brother; Kevin Conger, grandmother; Helen Teltow and godmother; Shirley Teltow.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Private funeral services and interment will be conducted.
