Kenneth N. Sayers' Obituary
Kenneth N. Sayers, age 85, of China Twp., died April 1, 2016. He was born August 12, 1930 in St. Clair to the late Earl and Genevieve Sayers.
Kenny served his country honorably from 1946 to 1947 with the U.S. Army. On March 11, 1950 Kenny married Roma Endres. She preceded him in death in 2013. He was a union pipefitter for 40 years and a member of the Pipefitters Local 636. Kenny was also a member of the American Legion Post 382, St. Clair. Following his retirement he and Roma enjoyed many trips across the United States. He also enjoyed his time spent with his nieces and nephews as well as working outside at his home.
He is survived by his sons; James Sayers and Harold “Punky” Sayers, brothers; Harold (Rita) Sayers and Earl Sayers and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters; Delores Barks and Cheryl Posey.
Funeral service will be Tuesday April 5th at 11 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visiting hours are Sunday 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
