Kenneth C. Konen, age 75, of China Twp., died March 17, 2015. He was born on December 30, 1939 in Detroit to the late Nicholas and Vivian Konen. He married Peggy Hosinski on September 9, 1961. He is survived by his wife; Peggy Ko Read Obituary
I always appreciated the kindness from Mr. (& Mrs.) Konen in letting us play music in the basement all those times (and needing the TV BLASTING), and getting to play my drums by myself as well.
We had a lot of fun playing music, and hanging out from very young kids in Cub Scouts, until after we had graduated High School.
Thanks Mr. K, you will be missed and remembered!
I spent quite a bit of time at the Konen's growing up. Mr. K was and old-school Dad. He put up with Ken , I and our band blasting in the basement and parked his truck outside while we were working on cars in his garage. Thanks Mr. K. I will miss you.

Although I was not blood relative, nor his grandchild like my cousins Kyla, Kory, and Kaden, Grandpa Konen in his own loving way teased me like his own. Everytime we seen each other he always made sure to check up on how I was doing and making sure I was staying out of trouble and working hard. From mice in the field, and trips to big boy, thank you for welcoming into your family with open arms, my heart is heavy, you will be greatly missed. Love, Kennedy
The birthday spankings were so hard they made our eyes water. We didn't think that was funny, but it sure made him laugh. M-80s in the fire place when nobody was paying attention. The Moms didn't think it was funny, but it sure made him laugh. Acey-Deucey in the kitchen until 2AM. Family baseball games out back on Hall Road. Listening to stories from our family's "Archie Bunker". So many laughs. Thanks Uncle Ken.

Kenny k konen....My dad was quite the character over the year's. He helped me with so many projects, even when he came out to Arizona. I will miss his helping hand's. Love and miss you dad....Kenny
I was saddened to hear that Cousin Ken had passed. I recall visiting him at work in Centerline! Please accept my condolences. I will remember him fondly.

Our first house he fell off the roof. Our next house he was cutting trees and got bit in the butt by our dog. He always offered a helping hand even if it might hurt. Our next house he helped us put a fence around the perimeter. Theses are just a few examples of so many things. He was always willing to help us. Our life would've been much harder without him. It seemed like he could fix anything.
We love you dad and will miss you more than you could ever imagine.

A family trip to Florida. We rented a house in Kissimmee. We went to Disney, & Universal Studios but the day we remember is when we didn't go anywhere. We had Grandpa playing with us in the pool all day. Lots of fun, laughs, and smiles. We will miss you. Love always, Kyla, Kory, & Kaden.
