Kenneth "Kenny" William Dixon's Obituary
Kenneth “Kenny” William Dixon, age 73, of Roscommon, died on Thursday, August 29, 2024, in Grayling, Michigan, in the presence and comfort of his family.
Kenny was born March 13, 1951, in Saint Clair, Michigan, the son of Fred and Alice (Robbins) Dixon. He was an active executive board member of the Grayling Moose Lodge. He was also a member of the Grayling Eagles as well as the Roscommon VFW. Kenny worked for General Motors for 33 years and retired in 2016. He was an avid outdoorsman back in the day. Kenny enjoyed hunting and fishing, as well as golfing. He also loved classic rock music and enjoyed going to concerts. Kenny was known for having a dry and sarcastic sense of humor and was always quick with a joke.
Kenny will be greatly missed by family and friends. He is survived by his sons: Jonathan Dixon, Justin (Michael Rhadigan) Dixon; granddaughter, Jordan Dixon; brother, Larry (Lerma) Dixon; sister, Margaret (Jimmie) Boden; partner, Deb Kelso; sister-in-law, Sue Dixon; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Kenny is preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Cristi; grandsons, Dylan and Derek; sister, Cindy Caterer; brother, David Dixon.
A memorial service will take place on Saturday September 21, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. with visiting from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
