Kelly J. Gallaher's Obituary
Kelly Jean Gallaher, 46, of Marine City, passed away on Friday, October 13, 2017, after a long
and courageous battle with cancer. Kelly was born in Detroit on July 15, 1971, to Eugene and
Deborah Federspiel. She was an extremely proud and involved mom to her son Lucas Guzman.
Along with her parents and son, Kelly is survived by her siblings Joe Federspiel (Val Lawler),
Erin (Patrick) Smith and Ryan Federspiel (Samantha Hanekow). She was a beloved Auntie to
Dominic Lach, E.J. and Olivia Federspiel, Sebastian Smith, and Mackenzie and Benjamin
Federspiel.
For most of her working years, Kelly was employed in the Food Service Industry, working in
management positions for Pizza Hut, Olive Garden, Pepper Joe's, and others. She was a
wonderful cook and enjoyed baking and cooking for her family and friends. She shared a love of
baseball with her son and they enjoyed watching and going to Detroit Tiger's games together.
Kelly was so proud of Lucas as he played on his first baseball team this year.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 21 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. A memorial gathering will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. prior to the service.
