Kathy M. Symons' Obituary
Kathy M. Symons, age 67, of Clyde Twp., formerly of St. Clair Twp., passed away unexpectedly on December 31, 2020. She was born in York, Maine on July 6, 1953 to the late Lawrence and Gladys Gilles.
On January 29, 1972 Kathy married James Symons in Hancock, Michigan. She was an animal lover. The family always had dogs, cats, birds and at one time even chickens running around the backyard. Kathy also enjoyed fishing and long shopping trips with the girls.
She is survived by her husband; Jim Symons, her children; Gerry Symons, Liz Symons (Rodney Trice), Jason Symons, and Kelly Symons (Eric Beedon). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, her sister; Debbie (Tom) Heuchert and brother; Steve (Pam) Gilles, along with nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her son; David Symons.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, January 7 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the service.
