Kathryn Sue Compton's Obituary
Kathryn Sue Compton, age 75, of Emmett, passed away December 5, 2025 surrounded by her family. She was born December 11, 1949 in Goodells to the late Glen and Helen Dunsmore.
She married Rick Compton on April 16, 1971 in Marysville. Kathryn worked as a home health care aid for many years. She took great pride in helping those in their time of need.
She loved to sew, quilting, crocheting and sharing her works with family and friends. Her family was everything to her and she was the glue that kept them close. She cherished her time with them and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed lighthouses, tending to her many house plants and going to garage sales.
She is survived by her husband; Rick Compton, her children; Tamara Compton, Jon (Christine) Compton and Jamey (Jessica) Compton.
She is also survived by her grandchildren; Courtney, Aleah, Eric, Sarah, Katelyn, Hannah, Marcus, Christion, Megan, Jesse, Cooper, Bryce, Riley and 6 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are her brothers; Jim (Carol) Dunsmore, Keith (Marilyn) Dunsmore and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her children; Joel David Compton and Leah Marie Compton.
