Kathleen Simons' Obituary
Kathleen Simons, age 94, of Lexington, passed away peacefully January 22, 2021. She was born April 14, 1926 in Columbus, MI to the late Raymond and Mayme Prior. Kathleen married Robert Simons July 28, 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1999.
Kathleen and Bob loved polka dancing and traveling all around the United States, after Bob’s passing, Kathleen was a volunteer for hospice, She also cherished the time she spent with her family.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Don) Liss, Beverly (Norman) Carver; grandchildren, Trina Angels, Melani (Chris) Paul; granddaughter, Andrea Kaercher grandson in-law, Brian Austin; step grandchildren, Stephen Carver, Christina (Bobby) Steiner; great grandchildren, Luke Angels, Allie Warren, Chelsea Warren, Hunter Austin, Brooke Austin; step great grandchildren, Sara Bergman, Andrew Bergman, Lydia Bergman, Lucas Bergman, Ashton Carver and Ava Carver.
Kathleen is preceded in death by her brothers, Jack Prior, Ed Prior; sister Marie Wurmlinger; granddaughter, Angela Austin; grandson in-law, Jim Angels.
