Kathleen Ann Benoit's Obituary
Kathleen Ann Benoit, age 82, of East China Twp., passed away May 1, 2026. She was born October 11, 1943 in Marine City.
On February 9, 1963 Kathleen married the love of her life, Richard Benoit. They enjoyed 43 years of marriage before his passing on May 9, 2006.
Kathleen always looked forward to a spirited game of cards. She also enjoyed ceramics and just spending her quiet time reading. Kathleen cherished her years as a devoted wife and cherished mother and grandmother. She always looked forward to her time with family.
Kathleen is survived by her children, Antoinette (Michael) Uppleger and Richard (Grace) Benoit; grandchildren, Sarah (Blake) Parks, Amy (Anthony) Deciechi and Lillian Benoit; great grandchildren, Marlowe Parks, Fisher Parks and baby Deciechi (due this fall); brothers, Bill Durow and Jim (Kay) Durow and brother in law D.P. Stockwell.
She is predeceased by a special aunt, Marilyn (Dan) Colman; sister, Mary Lou Stockwell.
The family would like to thank Visions AFC in St. Clair and Heart to Heart Hospice for the compassion and care given to Kathleen.
Honoring Kathleen’s wishes cremation has taken place and a private family luncheon will be held at a later date.
