Katherine "Kay" Martin's Obituary
Katherine "Kay" Martin, 93, of Port Huron formerly of Richmond passed away Saturday, January 21, 2017. She was born in Pennsylvania on April 30, 1923 to the late Constantine and Elizabeth Varee. She married John F. Martin on March 25, 1950. He preceded her in death on May 23, 1977.
She enjoyed bowling and golf during her senior years.
She is survived by her son; William (Sirene) Martin, daughters; Nancy (Dennis) Rasmussen and Laura (Geoff) Bryan. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Greg (Cathy) Zukowski, Jeff (Michelle) Zukowski, William (Aimee) Martin, Rebecca (Jeff Irwin) Martin, Jon (Monique) Rasmussen, Andrew (Tiffany Pearl) Rasmussen, Frank (Keri) Rasmussen, Bethany (John) Morningstar, Mindy Kisielewicz, Chris (Sara) Bryan, Jennifer (Tom) Herberger, Nick, Dave, and Matt Bryan, and many great-grandchildren, along with her sister; Maggie Steigerwald of Pennsylvania.
She was preceded in death by ten siblings.
Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, January 26 at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Meade Cemetery.
