Karen Sue Streeter-Chartrand's Obituary
With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our cherished, Karen Sue Streeter Chartrand, 67, of St Clair. Passed away from a brief illness on November 16, 2025.
She was born, April 20, 1958 to the late Betty DeRush. Karen married Jeffrey Chartrand on February 14, 2023 in their beautiful home.
Karen was retired and enjoying life by attending to her gardens on their property. Hosting parties where no one left hungry. Her smile and laughter, lighted up every room or crowd she was in. She loved her music, watching the ships and boats pass by. Her furry companion, LaPerm and many family and friends. She gave the best advice and encouragement when someone needed an ear to listen.
She is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Chartrand. Daughter, Tanya Streeter, fiancée, Robert Graham. Her pride and joy, granddaughter, Skyler Streeter Fye, brother, Thomas DeRush and many friends and family. She was proceeded by her special nephew, Terry Streeter and mother, Betty DeRush.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 22nd, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visitation will be on Friday, November 21st from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. as well as 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment at Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair.
