June Coral Wolgast's Obituary
June Coral Wolgast, age 89, of China Twp., died December 1, 2015. She was born June 12, 1926 in Dearborn and was an area resident of China Twp. She married Walter V. Wolgast on March 5, 1944. He died on January 11, 1984.
June believed that Jesus Christ was her Lord and Savior. She was a member of Columbus Bible Church, Columbus Twp., Mich. and also attended St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in St. Clair.
June farmed alongside of her husband for almost 40 years. She loved being outside, especially mowing her lawn on her riding mower. She was known as the Egg Lady in an article that appeared in the Times Herald by John Brown. She loved passing out angel pins and shopping at the Dollar Store. June was active in her township and church.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy (Donald) Emunson and her son, Walter John Wolgast (fiance’ Debbie Pesta). She has four grandchildren and three great grandchildren and her beloved cat, Baby. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers and a sister.
Cremation has taken place per June’s wishes and a memorial service will be held Friday December 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Columbus Bible Church, 1770 Palms Rd., Columbus Twp., with a luncheon following. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Columbus Bible Church, Columbus Twp.
