June L. Payionk's Obituary
June L. Payionk, age 93, passed away peacefully on May 10, 2023 in Mesa Arizona. Her home for the past 27 years, formerly of Marysville. June was born in Watertown, Michigan on 6-15-1929. She graduated from Minden City High School, and furthered her education in 1970 by becoming certified in the Business field. June worked at the St. Clair County Health Department as a Lab Tech for 20 years before retiring. After moving to Arizona she accepted a position at Costco as a demo person and worked another 12 years, retiring again at the age of 78.
June loved life, and showed it with her positive attitude and infectious smile. Her smile drew you into her wonderful world, and once you were touched by her kindness you were her friend for life. Not a day would go by without her in your thoughts. June touched so many people with her smile and love. She had a place in her heart for everyone she loved. Furthermore she inspired so many people with her strong faith and love for Jesus. She was such a special lady.
June is survived by her children, Edward (Sandi) Pionk, William Payionk, Donald Payionk, Marie (Payionk) Hills, Michael (Kathleen) Payionk. She’s also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. June was preceded in death by her husband Alexander Payionk, and 2 of her grandchildren.
A Memorial Mass will be Saturday, June 17th, at St. Christopher’s Catholic Church in Marysville, at 11:00 a.m., with visiting from 10:30 a.m. until time a service, with a burial following at Riverlawn Cemetery next to her late husband.
