Julie Ann Buel's Obituary
Julie Ann Buel, age 75, of St. Clair, passed away unexpectedly at home on January 21, 2025, of natural causes. She was born February 9, 1949, in St. Clair, Michigan, to Nelson John "Jack" DeLisle and Nancy Lou (Shurkey) DeLisle.
Julie deeply loved her family and her Great Danes, who brought her immeasurable joy and companionship. She was an avid reader and had a remarkable appreciation for stories. Julie also loved showing guests her garden and talking about the birds and pollinators that visited. Her love of nature's beauty created a lasting impact on the lives of her family and friends.
She is survived by her mother, Nancy DeLisle, her son, Scott Buel, his wife, Amanda, and their daughter, Ella, who brought her endless pride and joy. Julie is also survived by her sister Susan (Gary) Platzer, her brother Jess (Kathy) DeLisle, and six nieces and nephews.
Honoring Julie’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family inurnment will be held at Hillside Cemetery Columbarium in St. Clair, where she will rest near her father.
In remembrance of Julie, the family encourages all who knew her to celebrate her life by cherishing the love of family, the companionship of pets, and the simple joys of life.
