Julianne M. Caraway's Obituary
Julianne M. Caraway, age 82, of Shelby Twp., passed away Monday, January 8, 2018. She was born on May 16, 1935 in Detroit to the late Frank and Germaine Senger. She was raised in Marine City and graduated from Holy Cross High School. She married Robert Caraway on June 23, 1956. She enjoyed her time spent with her children and grandchildren. All of her grandchildren called her “Grandma Honey”
She is survived by her children Ron (Anne) Caraway, Renee Kerner, Kathleen (Dave) Harrell, Michelle (Mark) Amato, Mike Caraway, 11 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Ron (Harriet) Senger, Carole Piper, Warren (Jeanie) Senger, Gail (Joe) Posey, Frank (Patti) Senger, Mike Senger, Pat (Diane) Senger, sisters-in-law: Suzy Senger and Lenore Senger- Ernest, brother-in-law; Joe Bachler, many nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert Caraway; Sons Kevin and Rob Caraway, great grandson; Brodie Green, brother: Bob Senger, sister; Mary Bachler, and brother-in-law; Tom Derocher.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, January 12 at Our Lady on the River Parrish, Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 11 from 2:00-8:00 P.M. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp., and one hour at church prior to the mass on Friday.
