Judith Anne Elsholz's Obituary
Judith Anne Elsholz, age 86, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 26, 2025. She was born on March 12, 1939, to the late Harry and Anne FitzJohn. Judy married John Elsholz on August 25, 1956, who preceded her in death on November 6, 2006. Judy worked as a clerk, the head of the front candy counter for Erickson’s for many years. She was a lifelong and devoted member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Judy enjoyed baking, especially her cookies. She put countless hours into baking her cookies for all of her family and friends to enjoy. She cherished the time she spent with her family. Judy was a proud mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Who took pride in caring for the people that were closest to her.
She is survived by her children, Nancy (Stephen) Perry, Steve (Sue) Elsholz, Laurie (Eddie) Thomas, Tim Elsholz, Mark Elsholz, 14 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren; sister, Kathy (Dick) Deaner, as well as several special nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her son, Johnny Elsholz; granddaughter, Angie Pater; sister, Carol Anne Riedel.
The family expresses a sincere thank you to Judy’s caregivers; Brooklyn, Lindsay, and Pam, for their compassion, love, and care when Judy needed it most.
A funeral mass will take place on Wednesday, July 2nd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, July 1st from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. With a rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. Interment at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, St. Clair. Judy's grandsons will be serving as pallbearers.
