Joyce M. O'Brien's Obituary
Joyce M. O'Brien, age 69, of East China Twp., passed away April 5, 2021. She was born in Port Huron on February 3, 1952.
She married Jim O'Brien in the spring of 1991. He preceded her in death on November 24, 2013. She worked as a bartender at Burkhardt's Bar and Riverside Bar in St. Clair as well as the Port Huron Golf Club. She lived a simple life which meant her times with her husband Jim and her time spent with family and friends.
She is survived by her son; Brian (Holly) Tatman and their daughter; Sadie, her parents; Bridget and Mac Fairfield, sisters; Jean (Steve) Harris, Janet (Rick) Hrigora, and Heather (Jim) Smith. She is also survived by her nieces; Samantha (Tim) Bennett, Stephanie (Rob) Bellman, and nephew; Ricky Hrigora, her step-children; Jeff (Lisa) O'Brien and Jane (Scott) Rhody, along with many great nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father; John Glossender.
Visitation for Joyce will be Sunday, April 11, at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. As per her wishes guests are to dress casual. Memorials are suggested to family wishes. To leave the family a message of comfort please visit: www.youngcolonial.com
