Joyce M. Anderson's Obituary
Mrs. Joyce Marie Anderson, age 77 of Sparta, Tennessee, passed away on Saturday, March 14, 2015. She was born Friday, November 12, 1937 in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of the late Earl Thomas and the late Emma (Trinkle) Thomas.
She is survived by her children, Rhodonna Moore of New Haven, Michigan, Kathy (Roger) Johnson of Sparta, Tennessee; 4 Grandchildren, Michael Kritzman of Mio, Michigan, Jennifer (Joseph) Hall of Little Rock, Arkansas, Elizabeth (Jason) Bowen of New Haven, Michigan, and Robyn Lynne Higgs of Littleton, Colorado; 4 great-grandchildren, Tyler Bowen, Anna Bowen, Amy Bowen and Aiden Hall; Sister, Barbara "Sue" Doberass and her best friend and canine companion, Abby; She is also survived by many other friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Richard "Dick" Anderson, her daughter, Sherry Smith, her son Richard Michael "Mike" Anderson and her brother, Robert "Bob" Thomas.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 21st at 1:00 p.m. in Marine City, Michigan at the Holy Cross Catholic Church officiated by Father Stephen Rooney. Family will receive visitors prior to mass from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, Michigan.
