I am deeply saddened by Joe’s passing. We went to St. Matthews Elementary School together 30 years ago. A few years ago Joe reestablished contact with me and, unknowingly, was the catalyst behind our upcoming reunion. I was really looking forward to seeing my old friend—one of the nicest, friendliest I've ever met.
