Mr. Joseph Frederick Normandin's Obituary
Joseph Frederick Normandin, age 85, of St. Clair Township, passed away on May 20, 2014 after a long illness. He was born November 10, 1928 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Fred and Katherine Normandin. On September 2, 1946 Joe married Mary Weir. Joe was a truck driver for many years and a member of Teamsters 339. He served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion.
He is survived by five children; Sue Bigger, JoAnn Suisse, John (Kelly) Normandin, Jan (Tom) Biscarner and Chris Normandin, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, brother in law and sister in law, Norm and Leota Weir and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Mary, son, Butchy, sons in law, Jim Suisse and Butch Bigger.
Funeral mass will be Friday May 23rd at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Interment with military honors will be in Hillside Cemetery, St. Clair. Visitation will be Thursday 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. with rosary recital at 7:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. and Friday 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church prior to mass.
