Joseph D. Liuzzo's Obituary
Joseph D. Liuzzo, age 78, of Casco Twp., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on January 5, 2021. He was born January 1, 1943 in Detroit to the late Carmelo and Belva Liuzzo. Joseph married Karen VanPeteghem on July 30, 1990 in Las Vegas.
Joseph enjoyed working in his pole barn, walking through the woods, fishing and taking trips to the casinos. He was the best husband, father, papa, brother and was loved by everyone. But above all Joseph loved the times that he spent with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his wife of 30 years Karen Liuzzo; children, Joseph (Marietta) Liuzzo, Lori (Matthew) Schulz, Krystal (Mark) Rakecky, Pamela (Jeff) Alexander, Matthew (Holly) Wright, Pamela (Michael) Kaminski, William Daudlin; grandchildren, Skyler, Gabriella, Sarah, Jacob, Rebecca, Joe, Anna, Jayde, Joshua, Brayden, Jack, Payton, Jory, Eric, Katelyn, Sarah, Kevin; sisters, Carol Green, Linda (Dale) Baeske, Mitzie (Steve) Tanduy; brother-in-law, Bob Gick, Bob Serra, along with many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by siblings; Bob (Shirley) Liuzzo, Denny Liuzzo, Bev Nowawski, Norma Gick, Joyce Serra; brother-in-law, Larry Green.
A memorial service will be Saturday January 9th at 5:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visitation will be Saturday January 9th from 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
