Joseph M. Chrzanowski's Obituary
Joseph M. Chrzanowski, age 94, of China Twp., passed away peacefully on April 23, 2025. He was born on November 10, 1930 in Alpena to the late John and Katherine Chrzanowski. Joseph married Rose Goeschel on April 24, 1954 who preceded him in death on August 25, 2022. He proudly serviced his country in the United States Marines during the Korean War for 2 years. Joseph worked as a mechanic for various dealerships in Macomb County, he later owned and operated his own automotive repair shop. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Fair Haven. Joseph cherished the time he spent with family, including the family cookouts. He was an avid animal lover, especially his dogs. Joseph and Rose spent time in Florida before moving back to Michigan. They enjoyed their time together while being outdoors on their porch swing. Joseph spent countless hours tinkering on his old cars and trucks while listening to his country music.
He is survived by his daughter, Lori (Jeff) Metheny; 7 grandchildren, 15 greatgrandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his sons, John and Dennis Chrzanowski, 4 sisters, and 2 brothers.
