Jonathan A. Lenhardt's Obituary
Jonathan A. Lenhardt, “Poe”, age 40, passed away unexpectedly on September 16, 2025. He was born on November 1, 1984 to Robert Lenhardt and Jacqueline Figiel. Jonathan was a graduate of L’Anse Creuse Central, class of 2003. He married Kara Spellicy on January 22, 2010. Jonathan worked several years for Complete Prototype Services. Through hard work and dedication, he earned a management position. From there he went to work for Schaller Group, where he enjoyed his time working as a CMM programmer. Jon was an active parishioner at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Marine City. He volunteered numerous events, his latest was calling bingo for the Knights of Columbus. In his younger years, Jon had a passion for music, and was a part of a metal band. Music remained close to his heart throughout his life. He was very talented when it came to crafts. His artistic spirit came to life when presented with the challenge in building art with various objects. He especially cherished doing those crafts with his children.
He is survived by his wife, Kara; children, Jonny, Quinn, Claire, Hayden; parents, Robert (Jane) Lenhardt, Jacqueline (Jeffrey) Figiel; sister, Melanie Priehs; parents-in-law, Daniel (Deborah) Spellicy; in-laws, Keanan (Ashleigh) Spellicy, Kaitlin (Franco) Whitis, Christian (Stephanie Zinner) Spellicy; nieces and nephews; Thomas, Jackson, Ben, Rory, Charleigh, Keaton, Declan, Timmy, as well as many aunts, uncles, & lifelong friends.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents on both sides of the family as well as his aunt.
Cremation arrangements have taken place with Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
