Jon Edward Hansel's Obituary
Jon E. Hansel, age 49, of Columbus Twp., passed away June 29, 2022. He was born July 31, 1972 in Jackson. He married Candee Markel on August 18, 2011.
He worked at Magical Touch Oil Change in Marysville for many years and also worked at My Sprinkler Guys in Chesterfield.
He is survived by his wife; Candee Hansel, his step-daughter; Gabi Markel and his children; Ellee and Dakohtah Hansel. He is also survived by his brother; Wyllis Hansel, step-brother; Bill Olney, father and mother in-law; Tom (Cathy) Markel, along with 1 brother in-law and 5 sisters in-law and many nieces and nephews and best friend; Scott Morgan.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Deborah (Melvin) Olney and step-father; Richard Luty.
Funeral Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 30 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair. Inurnment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery, St. Clair. Cremation arrangements by Young Funeral Home, China Twp.
