John Raymond Oles, age 55, of St. Clair, died October 13, 2009. He was born January 13, 1954 in St. Clair.
Married Mary Tulloch December, 6, 1986 in Grosse Pointe Farms. John loved golfing, fishing, hunting and playing cards. He was also a Master Gardener and was a member of the Golf Course Superintendent Association. John especially enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Mr. Oles is survived by his wife; Mary Beth (nee Tulloch) Oles. Brothers and Sisters; Ted (Melva) Oles, Tom (Cheri) Oles, Larry Oles, Bob (Ann) Oles, Ken (Marilyn) Oles, Nancy (Dennis) Distelrath, Lou Ann Oles. Father-in-law and mother-in-law; John and Mary Tulloch. Brother-in-law and sister-in-laws; John Tulloch, Patricia (David) Huffman, Monica (Geoff) Boynton. Survived by many nieces and nephews that he loved dearly, many wonderful friends, and companions; Mocha and Spike.
Preceded in death by parents; Louis and Jean Oles.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 10am on Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, St. Clair. The family will receive visitors at Young Funeral Home on Friday from 2-9pm with a 7pm Rosary. Additional visitation will be held at Church from 9:30-10am. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to St. Clair Little League. www.youngcolonial.com
