John J. Parrish's Obituary
John Joseph Parrish Sr., age 68, of St. Clair, died suddenly December 8, 2009.
He was born June 10, 1941 in Oxford, Michigan to Leo and Marie Parrish.
John was retired from Ford Tractor. He owned Parrish Farm and Greenhouse.
John was active with St. Clair County 4-H serving as a leader and also on the board.
He is survived by his wife Cynthia Parrish.
Children; John J. Jr. (Annette) Parrish and Sue Ann (Jim) Baker.
Grandchildren; Josie, Jessica, Elizabeth, Salvatore, and Kimberly.
Sister; Dianne (Walter) Job, Sister in law; Sue Ann Zachary, special friend John Andrew Plonka, many nieces, nephews, and all his hunting friends.
He was predeceased by his sister Jeanne Baker.
Funeral services will begin Friday at 10:15 at Young Colonial Chapel Funeral Home, China Twp. and process to St. Mary's Catholic Church, St. Clair for an 11:00 a.m. mass. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, St. Clair.
Visiting hours are Wednesday 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Thursday 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Serving as pallbearers are John and Pat Plonka, Greg and Bill Job, Todd Zachary, and Salvatore Parrish.
Memorials may be made to St. Clair County 4-H Council.
