John P Wittbrodt's Obituary
John P. Wittbrodt age 67, of St. Clair, passed away February 4, 2019. He was born November 23, 1951 in Detroit to the late Warren and Katherine Wittbrodt. John worked in the auto body industry for 50 years, he was a big model car enthusiast, loved playing the drums, donating radios to the homeless that he repaired, was a Boy Scout leader and a DJ. John also loved spending time with his family and had a big heart with helping anyone out who asked. He married Sheila Parker on May 24, 2008 at St. Edwards on the Lake.
He is survived by his wife Sheila, children; Paul Wittbrodt, Steven (Catherine) Wittbrodt, April Wittbrodt and Christopher Wittbrodt, stepchildren; Laura (Ray) Somogy and Jason Schrader, grandson; Patrick Wittbrodt, step grandchildren; Alex Somogy, Helena, Athena and Nicholas Schrader, brothers; Frank and Kevin Wittbrodt, along with several nieces and nephews.
John is preceded in death by his first wife Patricia Wittbrodt, sister; Mary Wittbrodt, and mother in law Betty Gagnon.
A Funeral mass will be held Friday February 8, 2019 at Immaculate Conception church in Ira Twp., at 11:00 A.M. with visitation starting at 10:30 A.M. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
