John Kevin Warren's Obituary
John Kevin Warren, died unexpectedly in his St. Clair, Michigan home on January 18, 2025. He was born on May 2nd, 1962 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Hubert and Vicki (Jones) Warren.
John is survived by his devoted wife of 36 years, Jody (Pecor) Warren; daughter, Taylor Warren (Corey Allen); sister, Denise (Ron) Charron; as well as many nieces, nephews, and extended family members.
John graduated from St. Clair High School in 1980 and proudly served in the United States Coast Guard. He went on to have a successful career, where he first worked for many years at Cargill. After, he went on to work with the Detroit Edison at the St. Clair Power Plant, where he retired after more than 20 years of service.
An avid lover of Michigan’s great outdoors, John was known for his enjoyment of snowmobiling in the winter along with boating and ATV’s during the summer months. He cherished the time spent traveling with family and friends, making memories throughout the state. John also enjoyed a good Bloody Mary and could always be counted on to bring joy and laughter to any gathering he was a part of. His warmth, humor, and infectious smile will be missed by all who knew him.
A memorial luncheon to celebrate John’s life is being planned, please be sure to check back for more details. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Thumb Animal Shelter, a cause close to John’s heart, where he and his family rescued their beloved black lab, Tucker.
