John E. Schuster's Obituary
John E. Schuster, age 75, of Columbus Twp., passed away unexpectedly March 8, 2023. He was born April 14, 1947 to the late Ervin and Madeline “Toots” Schuster. John will be remembered by many as having a kind, giving heart, who would help anyone if he was able.
John was the proud owner of Emil’s in Columbus Twp. He loved the people and fun Emil’s brought into his life for so many years. Mostly John enjoyed a good time and lots of laughter. (Oh, and candy, he never left home without it!)
John is survived by his daughters, April (Charles) Scarcello, Molly (James) Prior and Carolin Hartway; 5 grandchildren, Samantha and Trey Scarcello, Madelynn and Garrett Prior and CaliRae Redlowsk; 3 siblings and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his sons, John and Justin Schuster.
John’s last few years was spent with his loving good friend at his side, Miss Mary. She was affectionately known as the keeper of the cinnamon buns and wine, to try and keep John in line. As many know this was an impossible task at times. God Bless Mary for doing her best!
John will be dearly missed by Mary and his family.
No services are scheduled, but a party will be held at a later date in John's honor.
