John A. Kuziel's Obituary
John A. Kuziel, age 72, of St. Clair, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on June 21, 2023. He was born in Detroit on July 29, 1950 to Frank and Helen Kuziel and graduated from St. Hedwig Catholic School in 1968.
He met and fell in love with Charleen Closser in May of 1974, they married 6 months later on October 4, 1974 and stayed married for almost 50 years. John and Charleen worked at the St. Clair post office together, until they retired in 2008.
John was an avid outdoorsman. He was passionate about his hunting dogs and his time fishing. He was known for his love of trees. He truly cherished the time he spent camping with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charleen; children, John Kuziel II, Melissa Kuziel; grandchildren, John III and Allison; siblings, Genevieve Bargiel and Mitchell Kuziel.
A funeral service will be on Friday, June 30th at 7 p.m. at Young Funeral Home China Twp. Visiting hours will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. prior to the service. Memorials are suggested to the wishes of the family. To leave a message of comfort visit www.youngcolonial.com
