Mr. John B. Gauthier's Obituary
John B. Gauthier, age 65, of St. Clair, died October 16, 2013. He was born August 1, 1948 in St. Clair to Howard and Mary Jean Gauthier. John served with the U.S. Army in Vietnam and was also a Merchant Marine. John worked for over 15 years with Burgess Contracting and also for International Tank Service Boilermakers.
He loved riding his Harley with his friends, hunting, fishing, spending time at his property up north, but mostly enjoyed his time spent with his granddaughter.
He is survived by his daughter; Krista Gauthier, best friend and granddaughter; Jayda Frances Gauthier, siblings; Howard (Rose) Gauthier, Patricia (James) Raymo, Gerald Gauthier, Gail Allen, Karen Niebauer, Thomas Gauthier and Jeffery Gauthier. John Darrah, many nieces and nephews, special friend; Gloria Koob and many other dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Gauthier, parents and sister; Angela Gauthier.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday October 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Young Funeral Home, China Twp. Visiting hours are Thursday 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Friday 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 9:00. Memorials may be made to the wishes of the family.
