John C. Brozowski, age 91, of Columbus Township., passed away Thursday December 5, 2019. He was born on May 30, 1928 in Warren, Michigan to the late John and Mary Brozowski. He married Stephanie Kardasz on June 14, 1952 in Richmon Read Obituary
I am sadden to hear of John Brozowski's passing. I would like to extend my condolences to the family. John was such a special person. He kept us all entertained at the polka dances we all used to go too. He always had a smile on his face and a joke to tell you! He and his wife were special people. They made you feel right at home no matter where we were all at. So John rest in peace with the Lord and I am sure Stephanie was there to greet you.
We knew John through my working with Stephanie for many years at Woman’s Life. My husband would send Stephanie home with fish that he caught and John would send us a plump juicy chicken back to us in return. We are sorry for your loss but we know that Stephanie and John are very happy being reunited in heaven. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Nell and Dan Schmidt.
John and Stephanie were the nicest of neighbors. We met John when he came over to tell us our well drillers weren’t doing their job and that he could witch our well without all that equipment! With much skepticism by us, John showed Mike his technique and found a huge water vein that the well drillers hadn’t been able to locate!!!
Our four daughters loved to stop in and visit their chickens; John and Stephanie would give them treats and spoil them.
We’re going to miss looking across the street and seeing John putz around the farm.

So many fond memories of Uncle John and Aunt Stephanie, over the years the family became quit distant but one thing distance can not take away are the wonderful memory's I had at their home on the farm. Even Great Grandma Brozowski's chicken coop. He always had a barn full of cows & pigs which I will say was always the best tasting beef I ever had. We would always come out and visit and pick out what cow was going to be our next one for dinner and the same with the pig. But, not sure if Dan, or Thresa or Larry remember us, but I remember you guys and would just love for you to know how very sorry I am for your lost of Uncle John (your Dad), I will always cherish the memory's I have and carry on with his contagious smile, and with the beautiful smile Aunt Stephanie always had as well. Until we see each other again bring the big cows home Uncle John!

Where do I begin? Hauling in hay, wrecking his snowmobile, going up to Frankenmuth with his family and challenging him to see who could eat the most pieces of chicken, getting euchred by him and then having to listen to his happy chiding or trying to fool him with a fake Altes label on a bottle of beer (he knew right away the taste was off), warning me that the dog statue of Lady would tear my leg off. And finally the twig he planted in his yard which he boasted would one day be this huge tree-big enough to use to build an addition onto the house. The addition was built, but not with that tree which was never more than a pathetic branch. I will miss him.
