John Brockschmidt's Obituary
John Edward Brockschmidt, age 83, of East China Township, Michigan, died peacefully in his home with his family at his side July 12, 2010.
He was born May 29, 1927 in Grand Rapids to the late John and Lorraine Brockschmidt.
On August 23, 1952 John married Norma May Winn.
John graduated from Aquinas College and started teaching High School English and Latin in the Fraser Public School System in 1951 with grades K - 12 in one building. He spent over 35 years in the Fraser School System. When he retired he was principal of Howard C. Richards Junior High.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years Norma May Brockschmidt. Children; Mary A. Brockschmidt, John W. (Carol) Brockschmidt, and Lynn A. (Remi) Durand. Grandchildren; Benjamin J. Brockschmidt, Emily L. Brockschmidt, Brock K. Schmid, Kristina M. Schmid, Karie L. Schmid, and Michael Justin. Brother: Gerald R. (Joyce) Brockschmidt.
